Soupsongs at Musicport 2016

Some video material has been uploaded from "Soupsongs (The songs of Robert Wyatt)" at Musicport 2016.

Here is "Alliance" (the start missing - I guess).

I don´t know the full band here, but some of them should be Sarah Jane Morris and Jennifer Maidman on vocals, Larry Stabbins on sax, Liam Genockey on drums and Annie Whitehead on trombone.

University of Kent Event

6 April 2016 at The University of Kent:

Robert Wyatt “In Conversation” with Gavin Esler
With music performed The SoupSongs.

"Critically acclaimed musician Robert Wyatt returns to Canterbury to reignite the Canterbury Sound and talk to BBC journalist and University of Kent Chancellor, Gavin Esler, about a music career which has spanned five decades.

Live music on the night will be performed by The SoupSongs. Robert himself has not appeared on stage for many years, but he and long-time musical collaborator Annie Whitehead have assembled this exceptional group of musicians to perform his work live."

I don´t know if Annie Whitehead Group are touring with their Robert Wyatt tribute "Soupsongs", but they sure played at Teatro Bonci di Cesena (Italy) 2 March.

According to a nice mail from Aldo Saporetti, they played a lot from "Rock Bottom" and "Shleep", and treasures like "Left on man" and "Vandalusia".

Musicians:

Sarah-Jane Morris and Cristina Donà (voc)
Annie Whitehead (trombone)
Brian Hopper (sax)
Mark Lockheart (sax)
Jennifer Maidman (g, voc)
Janette Mason (keyb)
Tim Harries (el-bass)
Liam Genockey (dr)
