A recording of Wyatt digging, from Israel in 2001?

Although watching that I felt like I was invading his space a little too much?
I ran the hebrew on the youtube page for that through a translator and got this Googlish:

So I would take from that, it's from the Wyatt curated Meltdown festival in 2001? Not sure of the band he is digging though?
I´ve been thinking about that private space, and I think I agree with you too. Me, I have always thought RW was a cool guy, and posted it as the usual hommage of course. Hope he doesen´t mind.

And Robert sure didn't look like he minded too much in the video.
I have to admit, I enjoyed watching it but when the person w/ the camera moves around in front of him and starts zooming in, that seemed like a little much, you know?
I'm sure he'd take your posting it as a homage, that's how I took it.
It's the israeli singer Eviatar Banai; and the video is taken from a concert he gave in the Royal Festival Hall foyer during the 2001 Meltdown festival. Palestine singer Amal Murkus also sang that day; I was there and I remember it as a very moving experience and a sincere attempt to show that peaceful coexistence is possible, at least between open-minded people.
