Guitarist Mary Halvorson is guesting "Destination Out", and I´m happy to say she sounds like a real Robert Wyatt fan!
Firehouse 12 just released Mary Halvorson Quintet: "Saturn Sings". This is supposed to be music with harmonies inspired by Clifford Brown, Sam Cooke and The Soul Stirrers, Marvin Gaye, Thelonious Monk, Alexander Scriabin, Archie Shepp, Dmitri Shostakovich og Robert Wyatt. A great bunch, or what!?
