Dexter Gordon

On April 16 The Library of Congress will officially acquire the Dexter Gordon Recorded Sound and Video Collection.
Let´s celebrate with a video where Dexter Gordon (ts), George Gruntz (p), Guy Pedersen (b) and Daniel Humair (d) play "Lady Bird" in Belgium in January 1964. I also can´t resist to show a video from the same year where Dexter enters a concert at The Molde International Jazz Festival (Karin Krog is singing)! What a guy!
He played with Tete Montoliu (p), Alex Riel (dr) and Niels-Henning Ørstedt Pedesen (b) in Molde at this festival (watch them here).
