Richard Thompson boss of Meltdown

Elvis Costello, Patti Smith, David Bowie, Ornette Coleman and Robert Wyatt are among the artists who have directed the Meltdown festival in London, and in June 2010 Richard Thompson is the boss.
Read Graeme Thomson´s piece in The Guardian, where he even tries to guess some of the artists Thompson will choose. I think he will choose some jazz artists too.
