Moldejazz 2013 is over

Moldejazz 2013 is history.

Here are some photos from the open Festival Academy, run by Bjørn Stendahl (expert on Norwegian Jazz history) every year, and the morning concert Break of Day in Molde, happening in a beautiful park at seven o´clock in the morning, on the festival´s last day (and yes, hundreds of people come every year).

From top to bottom:
- Local arranger Petter Petterson on the Moldejazz history (here with Dexter Gordon and Sonny Stitt dueling in Molde in 1963).
- Kjetil Møster on his career, attitudes to music and his saxophones.
- Artist in residence Jason Moran is a great storyteller too. He seems to have enjoyed his week in Molde.
- Nordic Voices whit Kirsti Huke, Ingrid Lode, Live Maria Roggen, Torunn Sævik, Sissel Vera Pettersen, Tone Åse and Heidi Skjerve singing to the sounds of the Molde morning. Really nice! (More info in Norwegian: moldejazz.no).
