Today yesterday

Robert Wyatt was guest editor of BBC Radio 4´s "Today" on 1 January. Some of the themes touched were Honduras, life in town centers, author John Berger and a talk with Jerry Dammers (Specials) on what makes a good musical cooperation. Here you may listen, and follow a link to the material sent by amateur choirs Wyatt wanted in the program. A couple of podcasts here.

Another Wyatt radio experience, this mainly as a dj: in late November - early December 1994, he was in Milan for the book launch of "Falsi movimenti" (Italian edition of Mike King's "Wrong Movements", translated by yours truly). Radio Popolare asked him to do an interview and a short series of radio programmes.
The full Italian transcription & translation of both interview & series -- including all playlists -- is in and now you can also listen to that radio series, bucause hi-res mp3 versions (320 kbps) of all five shows are linked to a Wyatt Chronology I've uploaded on Radio Popolare website: it's all in Italian but all links (bar a couple) go to non-Italian webpages (including of course this one).
So, in order to get the Wyatt's radio series at Radio Popolare, just go to http://tinyurl.com/rwcron and scroll down to "1994": when you find the sentence "registra la prima, seconda e terza puntata", click on "prima" to download the first show, and then on "seconda e terza" to download the second & third shows. And in "1995" you must click on "due puntate conclusive" to download the fourth & fifth shows.
Enjoy!

Thanks a lot! I´ll make this a new blog post by just copying your comment. Easy for me and best for all parts.

The second and third part seems to be unavailable, but 1,4 and 5 downloaded just fine (February 21).

I checked and in fact, when trying to download the file including the 2nd and 3rd part, it says that it's temporarily unavailable. Just let me know if later today or tomorrow it will still be unavailable: if so, I'll try and upload it again.
All the best (and thank you very much for making that a new blog post)
