Rune Grammofon recently released their second album with FIRE!. "Unreleased?" (2011) is a great album, with intense sax playing by Mats Gustafsson. FIRE! is Mats Gustafsson (baritone saxophone, fender rhodes, electronics), Johan Bertling (electric bass) and Andreas Werlin (drums, percussion), and this time they are joined by Jim O'Rourke (guitar, synthesizer, harmonica) too. The music was recorded in Tokyo in September 2010.

Since I'm always a bit short in my descriptions, you better run over to the The Liminal to get convinced. I'm not that crazy about Jim O'Rourke (but have nothing against him, mind you) as the writer over there, but as a big fan of Mats Gustafsson I congratulate him with the Nordic Council Music Prize 2011!
