I visited what may become a new exciting venue in Bergen yesterday ("Bontelabo"), originally a cold storage building for fish, to see the group exhibition "Life is the only way".
How about Bogotá artist Humberto Junca Casas combining logotypes of Norwegian black metal bands (pictured here Burzum and Enslaved) and drawings of violent events in Colombia´s recent history? All done on old Colombian school desks.
I wondered a bit about the connection, but found this in a handout: "..also questions the ramification between the two countries and the embracement of the evil"!
"Damn right! Norwegian Wood?" was produced for "COLOMBORAMA" in Oslo earlier this year.
